The November episode of Voice - The SASHA PoSHcast is up!
This month the theme is PoSH for Transgender Employees and we had the privilege of having very insightful conversations with two experts.
This episode is divided into two parts. Part One is a learning-packed conversation with Aparna Mittal on the law, trans inclusion, being effective allies.
About Aparna:
Aparna Mittal is the Founder of Samāna Centre for Gender, Policy and Law, India’s leading consultancy, focused on equality and inclusion for all segments of diversity, and with a specialization on gender and LGBTQ inclusion. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of ETHRWorld, a Human Resources focused platform of the Economic Times, and the Task Force on Diversity & Inclusion set up by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).
Part Two is a deep-dive with Vikramaditya Sahai into topics including intersectionality of gender identity and caste, affirmative action and comprehensive sex education for children.
About Vikramaditya:
Vikramaditya Sahai works at the Centre for Law and Policy Research. They have previously worked as faculty at the Gender Studies Department, Ambedkar University, Delhi and as a consultant on a project to study non-normative sexuality and gender housed at the Advanced Centre for Women Studies, TISS, Bombay. They live and love in Delhi.
