Hello,
Greetings from SASHA.
Announcing the 47th SASHA workshop in the Compliance and Beyond Series.
Theme: Circumstantial evidence in POSH Inquiries
In sexual harassment cases, direct evidence is often scarce or missing due to the personal nature of the incidents. Consequently, Internal Committees must rely on circumstantial evidence to reconstruct the facts and reach a just conclusion. This workshop is designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework governing circumstantial evidence in India, supplemented by insightful case studies.
Through this workshop, participants will:
1. Develop a nuanced understanding of the legal and practical implications of circumstantial evidence in PoSH cases.
2. Explore real-life case studies illustrating the pivotal role of circumstantial evidence.
3. Understand how to identify, evaluate, and present circumstantial evidence during inquiries.
Who should attend?
Employees, HR, IC members, anyone interested in understanding how the Internal Committee reaches a conclusion with the help of Indirect Evidence in a POSH inquiry.
Date: 23rd January 2024
