Compliance and Beyond Series 2021 - Open Workshop by SASHA
Welcome or Unwelcome: Exploring the Nuances of Sexual Harassment and Boundary Violations
Hello!
One of the essential aspects in determining complaints of sexual harassment is the unwelcomeness of the conduct for the recipient. But how exactly do we decide ‘unwelcome’? On what basis has it been evaluated so far and is that enough? What must change?
SASHA is pleased to announce its first online open workshop as part of the COMPLIANCE AND BEYOND series 2021. The theme of the workshop is 'Welcome or Unwelcome: Exploring the Nuances of Sexual Harassment and Boundary Violations' and it will be facilitated by Shweta Bhat from Team SASHA.
About the Facilitator:
Shweta Bhat is a Psychological Counsellor, PoSH Consultant and Trainer and has been working with SASHA since 2017. She supports over 20 organizations as an External Member on the Internal Committee and ensuring effective implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act and Rules, 2013. Apart from this, she has conducted workshops for organizations on prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace, gender sensitization and diversity and inclusion in workplaces.
Shweta also conducts training sessions on child sexual abuse and child safety for students and is the host of our monthly podcast Voice – The SASHA PoSHcast, which aims to provide awareness for everyone on the topics of sexual harassment prevention and best practices to create and maintain safe and inclusive workplaces.
